Job Description

A skilled nursing facility is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. This position is ideal for someone dependable, hands-on, and attentive to detail.
Schedule:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Maintain cleanliness throughout resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces Prepare rooms for new admissions to ensure they are move-in ready Clean and disinfect furnishings, fixtures, ledges, restrooms, and heating/AC units Handle and distribute clean linens and assist with linen delivery throughout the facility Remove trash and support overall sanitation efforts across the building Assist with stripping and waxing floors as needed Break down and set up areas as needed for cleaning and facility operations Assist with snow shoveling and weather-related cleanup as needed Participate in special cleaning projects and other assigned facility tasks Follow established housekeeping procedures and regulatory guidelines Complete assigned tasks under the direction of the Housekeeping Director Perform physical duties, including lifting up to 75 pounds
What We're Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience required Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus Ability to communicate effectively in English
