Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and customer satisfaction will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobby areas, and other public spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Handle various chemical agents safely, following safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols for chemical handling and sanitation procedures. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and mops efficiently to maintain spotless floors and surfaces. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture, linens, and cleaning supplies with proper safety measures. Ensure all areas are maintained according to hotel housekeeping standards, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, bed-making, and replenishing amenities. Respond promptly to guest requests or special cleaning needs with excellent customer service skills. Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary to ensure guest safety at all times. Requirements Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a hospitality or industrial cleaning environment is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and experience with cleaning equipment is highly desirable. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects comfortably. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards.
