At Plum Creek Assisted Living , our Housekeeping team plays an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents. We are looking for a dependable, caring, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team. Responsibilities Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, hallways, and other areas throughout the community Make beds, change linens, and replace towels as needed Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean surfaces throughout assigned areas Clean and sanitize bathrooms while ensuring supplies are properly stocked Empty trash and dispose of waste according to facility procedures Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and resident clothing as needed Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control procedures Safely use cleaning products, chemicals, and housekeeping equipment Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Identify and promptly report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or other issues to management Respect residents' privacy, belongings, and personal living spaces at all times Interact with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner Work cooperatively with other departments to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming community Follow all Plum Creek Assisted Living policies, procedures, and safety requirements Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or laundry experience is preferred but not required Experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a similar environment is a plus Ability to safely operate washers, dryers, vacuums, and other housekeeping equipment Ability to safely handle cleaning products and follow established safety procedures Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment Dependable, punctual, and able to complete assigned tasks independently Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Friendly and respectful attitude when working around our residents Ability to work effectively as part of a team More Than Just Housekeeping Our housekeepers are an important part of our residents' everyday lives.
