Housekeeper

Job Summary Columbia Woodlands is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will help provide guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment by maintaining guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, have a strong eye for detail, and enjoy delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces following established safety and sanitation guidelines. Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels, toiletries, and room amenities. Dust, polish, and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces. Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain floors and carpets. Clean windows, blinds, and other room furnishings as needed. Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels. Restock housekeeping and cleaning supplies. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and steamers safely and efficiently. Identify and report maintenance issues or repair needs promptly. Ensure all rooms and facilities meet Columbia Woodlands' quality standards. Provide friendly, professional service to guests and work collaboratively with team members. Follow all company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or a related cleaning role preferred. Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, professional, and trustworthy. Ability to bend, lift, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Experience leading or supporting a housekeeping team is a plus. Why Join Columbia Woodlands?
