The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic space for guests or residents. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and industry best practices Handle floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors to ensure they are spotless and well-maintained Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly Adhere to health and safety regulations related to sanitation and infection control Assist with special cleaning projects including industrial cleaning or deep cleans when required Experience Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred Experience with floor care techniques such as waxing, stripping, or polishing is advantageous Hotel or custodial experience is highly desirable for candidates seeking a role within the hospitality sector Knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and equipment is a plus Experience managing housekeeping operations or supervising staff can be beneficial for leadership roles in housekeeping management This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness are essential.
