The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial spaces and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are sanitized, clean, and welcoming for guests and clients. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Handle carpet cleaning duties to ensure carpets are well-maintained and free from stains. Launder residents clothing. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and properly stored. Manage housekeeping supplies effectively, reporting any shortages or needs to management. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness. Assist in housekeeping management tasks when required, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety procedures related to cleaning tasks. Physical stamina is required; candidates should be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
