Responsibilities Perform floor cleaning and floor care duties using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents to maintain high standards of sanitation. Handle cleaning tasks across various hotel areas, including guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and service areas, ensuring all spaces are spotless and well-maintained. Manage custodial responsibilities such as vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and sanitation of surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks related to moving furniture, supplies, or equipment safely and efficiently. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently, including safety data sheets (SDS) protocols and chemical handling guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Support hotel housekeeping management by coordinating with housekeeping staff to ensure timely cleaning schedules and room readiness. Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper storage and functionality at all times. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial/custodial roles within hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, chemical agent handling, and industrial cleaning practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols related to chemical handling and heavy lifting. Proficiency in using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
