JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to prepare and provide food service to residents in a cost-effective, efficient manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIES
Ensure all assigned areas of facilities are cleaned and maintained as a sanitary environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with facility policy. Assist in proper care of housekeeping equipment. Identify and report any equipment malfunction to supervisor. Operate housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently. Follow and comply with the expectations of material safety data sheets (MSDS) and handle/work with all chemicals in a safe and efficient manner. Follow oral and written instructions. Work cooperatively with all departments and co-workers within the facility to promote a positive living environments for all residents and family members. Attend in-service training programs for housekeeping employees. Observe infection control procedures. Ensure the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process is followed in accordance with State & Federal Guidelines. Follow Residents' Rights policies at all times. Adhere to all facility policies & procedures. Ensure adherence to the Corporate Integrity Program and the Performance Expectations at all times.
