A Maid or Housekeeping Staff provides cleaning and housekeeping services, primarily for rooms and bathrooms in hotels and hospitals. May also work in private residences, office buildings, colleges, other institutions.
Part-Time (3-4 days per week) with potential for additional hours and opportunities for growth We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Housekeeper to help maintain our guest house and small event venue in Millersburg. This is a hands-on position focused on keeping the property exceptionally clean, organized, well-stocked, and guest-ready. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, notices the small details, and enjoys creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests.
Responsibilities:
Thoroughly clean and prepare the guest house before and after each guest stay Clean and sanitize bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and common spaces Make beds and ensure linens, towels, and other items are properly prepared Complete laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away linens and towels Restock toiletries, paper products, cleaning supplies, and other guest necessities Inspect the property after cleaning to ensure everything is clean, organized, and guest-ready Pay close attention to details such as dusting, floors, windows, fixtures, appliances, and high-touch surfaces Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation Report any maintenance issues, damage, missing items, or other concerns Help maintain an organized supply inventory and communicate when supplies need to be replenished Assist with cleaning, setup, and preparation before and after small events as needed Help maintain the overall appearance of the property and ensure guests arrive to a beautiful, welcoming space Help with basic garden and outdoor property maintenance, including watering plants, weeding, and keeping garden areas looking neat and cared for Take initiative to notice areas of the property that may need attention and help wherever needed Opportunities for
