Napoleon Hours:
Full-time, 7:00am - 3:00pm (40 hours per two-week pay period). Every other weekend/every other holiday.
Reports to:
Facilities/Environmental Services Supervisor Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Responsible for regular and timely attendance working scheduled days/times. Be flexible in schedule changes to ensure staff coverage for vacation and sick time as necessary. Treat residents, families, and coworkers with courtesy, dignity, and respect, promoting teamwork & good working relationships with leadership and fellow staff members Maintains assigned areas in a sanitary and safe manner. Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms (tubs, toilets, sinks & bathroom lighting), hallways, dining areas, and common spaces. Clean/sanitize/polish tables, fixtures, furnishings, woodwork, as needed or as assigned. Dust, sweep, wet mopping, waxing/buffing, disinfecting floors & baseboards, vacuum carpets and dust furniture. Replenish toiletries, paper products, general supplies and cleaning supplies as needed. Follow infection prevention and control guidelines to reduce the spread of illness. Safely use/care for and store cleaning chemicals and equipment. Clean windows/mirrors in resident/client rooms, such as bathrooms, entrance/exit ways, patio doors. Clean walls and ceilings by wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, etc., as necessary. Cooperate with other employees within the facility to maintain sanitary, safe conditions. Understand job requires lifting and being on his/her feet the majority of the workday.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Prefer but not required, High School diploma or GED. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to apply and safely use cleaning chemicals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team interacting with others in a positive manner/maintain harmonious working relationships with facility staff. Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented. Must be in good physical condition and maintain a neat appearance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds. Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment.
