Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeper/Laundry Worker, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities. Your dedication to high standards of hygiene and customer service will ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable and pristine stay. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing while adhering to safety data sheets. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by executing floor care procedures like mopping and sweeping with proper janitorial techniques. Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working condition. Handle heavy lifting tasks associated with moving furniture or large laundry loads while practicing manual handling safety standards. Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is highly preferred; familiarity with industrial cleaning or janitorial experience is advantageous. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by understanding safety data sheets. Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to perform heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards residents and team members. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools.
