Pay Rate:
$18.00 / hour
Position Type:
Full-time (Resume and interview required) Job Summary We are seeking a thorough and dependable Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across our professional office and industrial shop areas in the Urbana area. This role ensures a sanitized, clean, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. If you have an eye for detail, enjoy a structured routine, and want a reliable 1st-shift schedule with an early afternoon release on Fridays, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Restroom Sanitation:
Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms in both the office and shop areas, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
Waste Management:
Empty and reline trash cans across restrooms, shop zones, outside receptacles, and cigarette disposal containers; keep outdoor ground areas clear of litter.
Breakroom Upkeep:
Clean and wipe down office and shop breakrooms, including appliances (microwaves, refrigerators), tables, chairs, and countertops.
Floor Care:
Maintain floor surfaces regularly through dust mopping, wet mopping, and vacuuming.
Detail Cleaning:
Routinely wipe down high-touch and visible surfaces including hand railings, stairs, and window sills.
Qualifications & Requirements Detail-Oriented:
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across different environments (office vs. industrial shop).
Self-Motivated:
Able to follow a cleaning checklist and manage time efficiently to complete daily tasks.
Physical Stamina:
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the duration of the shift.
