Based on Experience Our team members enjoy: DHG Discounts - on meals/merchandise/lodging/shows for staff Free buffet/salad bar lunches Annual vacation bonus Wooden Nickels On-the-job training Flexible schedules Scholarship program What you'll be doing Issues "stay-over" cards to corresponding guest rooms Prepares evening refreshments; replenishes food/beverages accordingly Furnishes/replenishes conference room as needed Orders appropriate food quantities (cookies for evening, breads/rolls for morning) as necessary Performs laundry duties; washes, dries, and folds sufficient amount of rags/towels in preparation for following day Assists in Front Desk Department, answering phone calls and addressing clientele at counter Solely Assumes Front Desk role periodically to allow associate to use restroom Comprehensively cleans guest rooms according to Company standards when needed Applies safety precautions in all cleaning scenarios; prudently uses cleansing products/solutions according to instructions Performs "stay-over" services as needed; renders suitable items/services to occupied rooms as indicated by guests Stocks guest items at front desk /back office Cleans and furnishes employee restroom Empties trash at Front Desk and all offices; consolidates and disposes trash at exterior dumpster Mops boiler room floor; ensures no objects are near or making physical contact with boilers Puts away any shipments and packages received during shift Executes janitorial duties recurrently; addresses toilet, sink, HVAC problems in guest rooms Respects hotel property and equipment; operates cleaning tools and mechanical equipment respectably Cleans popcorn machine, containers, utensils before conclusion of shift; restocks necessary items Achieves cleaning assignments in interior sections of Inn (e.g. hallways, lobbies, boardroom, etc.) Reports all repairs—mechanical and electrical—to supervisor or maintenance staff Exemplifies superior customer service to guests—greeting clientele, readily fulfilling requests and responding to inquiries Provides directions for locale to guests Maintains professional environment in dialogue and interaction with associates Evinces clean, professional appearance; conforms to dress code administered by Management Attends meetings, conferences, and seminars as requested Executes other duties, as directed Skills you'll bring along A desire to serve guests and to exceed their expectations Ability to empathize with guests and take sincere interest in his/her specific circumstance Self-discipline to work efficiently under non-supervisory conditions Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a detailed manner Able to read and comprehend instructions Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Able to lift and/or move 30 pounds Able to climb stairs, stoop and kneel
Pay:
