Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to ensure our guests enjoy spotless, comfortable, and inviting environments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards across guest rooms, public areas, and outdoor spaces, contributing to an exceptional guest experience through diligent cleaning, organization, and customer service. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care. Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces by sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy items like furniture or supplies to prevent injury. Communicate effectively with guests regarding their needs or concerns related to housekeeping services. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within designated schedules while ensuring high-quality standards. Qualifications Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, carpet cleaning, floor care, and janitorial equipment is highly desirable. Familiarity with cleaning procedures involving sanitation, dusting, laundry handling, and outdoor work experience is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts. Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and detergents for safe use during routine maintenance.
