Our housekeeping team plays an essential role in creating a positive guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and attention to detail. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals with a strong commitment to cleanliness and guest service to join our housekeeping team. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas throughout the hotel. This position services guest rooms according to established hotel standards and procedures, stocks housekeeping carts with necessary supplies, replaces bed linens, replenishes guest room amenities, and follows all company standards and safety procedures. The position may also include deep-cleaning and preventative maintenance-related tasks within guest rooms. Weekend availability is required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Approach all interactions with guests and team members in a friendly, professional, and service-oriented manner. Maintain regular and reliable attendance in accordance with the hotel's scheduling requirements and business needs. Maintain a professional appearance and follow all uniform and name tag requirements. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards to support safe and efficient hotel operations. Thoroughly clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards. Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including preparing the housekeeping cart with linens, guest supplies, and cleaning products. Remove trash and soiled linens from guest rooms and dispose of them appropriately. Make beds and replace linens and towels as needed. Clean and sanitize guest room bathrooms and other assigned areas. Restock guest room amenities and supplies as required. Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Perform deep-cleaning tasks as assigned. Disassemble or move furniture and other guest room items as needed to complete deep-cleaning activities. Deep-cleaning responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Cleaning or replacing HVAC/AC filters as applicable. Cleaning AC coils. Touching up paint on walls, trim, or molding. Touching up or reporting scratches or damage to furniture. Rehanging or adjusting sliding doors. Cleaning areas that are not addressed during routine daily housekeeping. Perform other reasonable duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Requirements Education & Experience Previous hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, supervisors, and team members. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by the hotel. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to lift, carry, and move housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment. Ability to push and maneuver a fully stocked housekeeping cart. Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and physical tasks for extended periods.
