Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper & Laundry person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities within the hotel. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Sort, clean, fold and distribute linen Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with laundry duties as required. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner. Requirements Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but will train. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices helpful. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25 pounds regularly. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to housekeeping and guest service are essential.
