Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items. Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring types. Manage janitorial duties such as restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring sanitation protocols are followed at all times. Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including cleaning patios or outdoor furniture and maintaining outdoor areas. Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment during deep cleaning or rearrangements. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly attitude. Oversee housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling cleaning routines and coordinating team efforts for larger projects. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with a strong background in janitorial or custodial work. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable for understanding hospitality standards. Skilled in various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation procedures, and outdoor maintenance. Familiarity with laundry processes and equipment operation is essential. Experience with housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting and manual handling ensures safe work practices. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple responsibilities in fast-paced settings.
