Part-Time Position Overview Cedarbrook Country Club is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Part-Time Banquet Housemen. This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in the successful execution of weddings, golf outings, member events, private parties, and other Club functions. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous banquet or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train candidates who have a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Job Responsibilities Review banquet event details and assist with setting function rooms according to established floor plans and event specifications. Set up tables, chairs, linens, buffets, service stations, and other banquet equipment for upcoming events. Maintain clean, organized, and presentable banquet and event spaces before, during, and after functions. Assist banquet captains, servers, food runners, and other Food & Beverage team members as needed. Monitor and maintain buffet areas to ensure they remain clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout events. Communicate with banquet captains and management regarding additional event needs, including chairs, tables, utensils, napkins, linens, and other supplies. Break down event spaces following functions and ensure rooms are properly cleaned and reset. Return tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies to their designated storage areas. Maintain clean and organized banquet storage areas. Follow Cedarbrook Country Club's uniform and grooming standards. Assist with additional Food & Beverage responsibilities as assigned by management. Position Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to stand and remain active for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail. Dependable, professional, and willing to assist wherever needed. Previous banquet, restaurant, country club, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Schedule This is a part-time position with hours based on the Club's banquet and event schedule. Candidates should have flexibility to work a combination of: Weekdays and weekends Daytime and evening shifts Holidays and special events Weekend and evening availability is especially important for this position.
