Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Responsibilities Perform routine housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming facility. Provide laundry services for residents, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing personal clothing and linens. Clean resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas in accordance with facility standards. Follow appropriate infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures. Maintain housekeeping and laundry supplies and equipment in an organized manner. Work cooperatively with residents, families, coworkers, and other departments. Help maintain a positive, comfortable, and respectful environment for residents. Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Qualifications Previous housekeeping, laundry, or environmental services experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus. Ability and willingness to perform routine and repetitive cleaning and laundry tasks. Ability to work independently and effectively manage assigned responsibilities. Dependable, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and resident service. Ability to communicate and work effectively with residents, visitors, coworkers, and other members of the healthcare team.
