Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities. Your energetic approach will ensure our guests enjoy a pristine environment that reflects our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitation of all surfaces Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines Maintain high standards of cleanliness in public areas, corridors, and hotel facilities through janitorial practices Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Manage heavy lifting tasks when handling bulky linens or cleaning equipment with proper manual handling techniques Ensure all cleaning tasks comply with hospitality industry standards for sanitation and customer service excellence Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial experience within hospitality settings Strong knowledge of floor cleaning, floor care, and industrial cleaning techniques Ability to handle chemical agents safely and effectively during cleaning operations Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners Excellent customer service skills to address guest needs courteously and professionally Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and janitorial procedures Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment Join us to contribute your expertise in creating spotless spaces that delight our guests!
