Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all residential areas. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to keep surfaces spotless. Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently. Use various cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols for janitorial and custodial tasks. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs, provide updates on completed tasks, and address any special requests or concerns promptly. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures and sanitation standards. Hands-on experience with floor cleaning, carpet care, laundry operations, and the use of cleaning detergents and equipment. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple responsibilities in fast-paced environments. Outdoor work experience is a plus, especially when it involves maintaining outdoor spaces or exterior cleaning tasks. Prior housekeeping management or supervisory experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership roles within the field.
