Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial services, hotel or hospitality environments, and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and clean for all guests and staff. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitization to ensure compliance with health standards. Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner. Participate in training sessions to enhance housekeeping skills and knowledge of best practices. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred; experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care methods. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and staff. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
