What You'll Do As a Security / Housekeeping Team Member, your responsibilities will include: Patrol buildings and grounds to help ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and employees Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity Respond appropriately to emergencies, alarms, resident needs, and other safety concerns Complete incident reports and required documentation accurately Assist residents, visitors, and staff in a courteous, compassionate, and professional manner Support emergency preparedness and established safety procedures Clean and sanitize assigned spaces Deep clean vacated resident rooms as needed Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and equipment Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies Assist with special cleaning projects throughout the facility Perform floor care duties as assigned, including polishing, stripping, refinishing, and moving furniture Assist with laundry duties as assigned, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and other laundry items Identify and report potential safety, security, maintenance, or cleanliness concerns Perform other duties as assigned to support a safe, clean, and welcoming community What We're Looking For No previous housekeeping experience necessary! High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license Caring, compassionate, reliable, and dependable Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergency situations Ability to follow established safety, security, and cleaning procedures Previous security, law enforcement, healthcare, or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required Willingness to assist wherever needed and work as part of a team Pride in maintaining a safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents Why Join Concordia?
