Laundry & Meal Preparation Assistant Private Residence | Hummelstown/Hershey Area | Approximately 20 Hours Per Week We are seeking a dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented household professional to help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable private home. This is a consistent, long-term part-time position for someone experienced in household cleaning, full-service laundry, and simple meal preparation.

HOUSEKEEPING & HOME CARE

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning throughout the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and maintain floors, surfaces, fixtures, and common household areas.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms neat, comfortable, and guest-ready.
• Monitor cleaning and household supplies and complete occasional deep-cleaning or organizational projects.

LAUNDRY & LINEN CARE

• Manage household laundry from start to finish: sort, wash, dry, fold, hang, and put away clothing and linens.
• Launder towels, sheets, bedding, and other household fabrics; treat stains and follow garment-care instructions.
• Iron or steam clothing and linens as needed, and keep the laundry area and closets organized.

MEAL PREPARATION & HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT

• Prepare approximately two simple, healthy meals each week according to household preferences and provided recipes.
• Develop grocery lists and assist with occasional grocery shopping, pickup, or light household errands as agreed.
• Clean the kitchen, dishes, counters, and cooking areas following meal preparation.
• Communicate promptly regarding needed supplies, scheduling matters, or household concerns.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Previous professional housekeeping or private household experience is preferred.
• Experienced in clothing, linen, stain, and delicate-fabric care, with basic cooking skills.
• Reliable, punctual, discreet, trustworthy, organized, and attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow household preferences.
• Has reliable transportation, strong references, and willingness to complete a background check.
