Position:

The laundry attendant is a first shift 8:30 am to 3 pm (sometimes ending a bit earlier or later) position that requires physical labor and a friendly, guest service attitude. Ability to lift to 25lbs at a time and push wheeled bins frequently. What will I be doing? As a Laundry Attendant, you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Greet guests immediately with a friendly/sincere acknowledgement Provide customer service to guests when needed Operate large machinery such as weighing scales, professional washers, and dryers Maintain a clean and organized work environment with sorted clean and dirty linen Ability to fold and sort a variety of linens and terry items, identify those that need to be rewashed, separate, and load into bins Transport clean linen to various parts of the hotel Reports maintenance deficiencies to maintain the room in compliance with Hilton standards Assist co-workers as requested Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management Work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment, flexible with spontaneous demands from guests and for business needs. Physically able to move large and heavy objects such as carts, large bags of linen Exposure to cleaning chemicals, vibrations, humidity, heat, dust, and noise Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards and be able to recognize and act in emergencies Display a professional image at all times through appearance and conduct Follow company philosophies, policies, and procedures Comply with Hilton rules and regulations for safe and efficient operation Regular attendance in keeping with guidelines established by the company and site is essential to the successful performance of this position

Pay:

From $10.50 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
