Job Description

At Milton Nursing & Rehab , we believe that a clean, safe, and comfortable environment is the foundation of quality care. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join our team. In this role, you will be more than just a housekeeper; you are an essential part of our care community, helping to provide a welcoming home for our residents.
Key Responsibilities Room Sanitation:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with strict infection control and safety procedures.
Daily Upkeep:
Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and wipe down furniture, beds, and fixtures.
Laundry:
Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents' personal clothing and facility linens.
Trash & Linen:
Safely remove trash and handle soiled linens following facility guidelines.
Restock Supplies:
Replenish necessary items like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in resident rooms and shared spaces.
Discharge Cleaning:
Perform terminal cleaning to prepare rooms for new residents. Qualifications Prior housekeeping/laundry or custodial experience (healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus). Strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Compassionate attitude and respectful demeanor toward elderly residents. Ability to stand and bend for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
