The Housekeeping position will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, restrooms, break areas, production and other designated spaces. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while also being part of a team. Previous commercial, industrial, or manufacturing cleaning experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to maintaining high standards are equally important. Duties Clean and maintain offices, hallways, common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and other assigned areas throughout the facility. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, surfaces, fixtures, and other areas as needed. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, and other fixtures. Replenish restroom, break room, and cleaning supplies as needed. Clean and maintain break room and kitchen areas, including tables, counters, sinks, and appliances. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all assigned areas are properly maintained. Use cleaning equipment, tools, and products safely and appropriately, following manufacturer instructions and facility safety procedures. Monitor cleaning and supply inventory and notify the appropriate person when supplies need to be replenished. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, spills, damaged equipment, or other issues to the appropriate personnel. Assist with occasional deep-cleaning projects, including windows, walls, floors, equipment, and other areas as assigned. Maintain cleaning equipment and keep storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, security, and environmental guidelines. Perform other cleaning and facility-support duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Previous commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or janitorial cleaning experience preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established cleaning procedures. Ability to properly and safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to recognize and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and areas requiring additional attention. Ability to work cooperatively with employees and other members of the facility team. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting.
