Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Houseperson, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our hotel. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience a welcoming and pristine environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to exceptional guest satisfaction through diligent cleaning, sanitation, and hospitality service. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols Maintain cleanliness of floors through vacuuming, mopping, buffing, and other floor care procedures using specialized equipment Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies to support housekeeping operations Restock supplies like linens, toiletries, and amenities to ensure guest rooms are fully prepared for new arrivals Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns Ensure all custodial activities comply with sanitation standards and hotel housekeeping management policies Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with strong janitorial background Expertise in floor cleaning, floor care, vacuuming, and the use of cleaning equipment Knowledge of chemical handling, safe use of cleaning agents, and familiarity with SDS guidelines Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or furniture Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with guests and team members Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning checklists and sanitation standards consistently This energetic role invites motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
