Judy's on Cherry is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Restaurant Housekeeper / Cleaning & Laundry Attendant to help maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment. This position is responsible for the deep cleaning and general upkeep of the restaurant and kitchen , as well as washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing restaurant linens . We are looking for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently and independently, and understands the importance of maintaining high sanitation standards in a restaurant. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dining areas, bar areas, kitchen areas, restrooms, and other restaurant spaces Sweep, vacuum, mop, and thoroughly clean floors Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, fixtures, doors, windows, and other surfaces Perform detailed cleaning of the commercial kitchen, including floors, walls, shelving, prep areas, and designated equipment surfaces Clean underneath and around restaurant and kitchen equipment as assigned Remove trash and recycling and replace liners Clean and maintain restaurant restrooms throughout assigned shifts Dust and clean furniture, décor, windowsills, baseboards, and other areas Complete scheduled deep-cleaning projects Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when products need to be reordered Properly use cleaning chemicals and follow all safety and sanitation procedures Wash and dry restaurant linens, including tablecloths, napkins, towels, aprons, and other washable items Treat stains and inspect linens for cleanliness or damage Iron or press table linens and napkins as needed Fold and organize clean linens neatly for restaurant service Maintain the laundry and linen-storage areas in a clean and organized condition Help prepare the restaurant for service by ensuring guest and employee areas are clean and presentable Complete cleaning checklists and communicate any maintenance, damage, or sanitation concerns to management Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning, housekeeping, restaurant cleaning, laundry, or janitorial work is preferred , but we are willing to train the right candidate.
