Full availability, including overnight shifts is a must. Weekend availability is a must as well. You must have a clean, valid driver's license for at least six prior years. The Shuttle Driver/Houseman position is a vital position at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Ridley Park. The position is split between houseman duties and shuttle runs. The employee would be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel inside and out. When doing shuttle runs, you are responsible for transporting our guests to and from the airport only. Prior hotel experience is preferred. The Shuttle Driver/Houseman is to shuttle hotel guests to and from the airport during their stay; Contribute to the guest experience by making it easier and more enjoyable for guest to arrive, check in and stay at the property. Drives incoming/departing hotel guests between hotel and airport and assists guests with luggage. Attends and participates in monthly front desk, housekeeping and driver meetings. Inspects van to ensure that it is in order and that supplies are adequate. Reports damage, accidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor. Complete and submits daily vehicle inspection and guest count checklists. Pages guests in lobby, delivers messages and runs errands, returns errant bell carts in parking lot and from guest floors. Maintains courtesy van consisting of washing, cleaning, and fueling Maintains lobby in a clean and tidy manner; this includes, but is not limited to ashtrays, trash, seating areas, front doors, floors, etc. Maintains the front port-cochere by picking up trash, cleaning oil leaks, shoveling snow, melting ice, hosing off sidewalks etc. Maintains the cleanliness of the hotel floors, bathrooms, and pool area. Adheres to all local and state laws and brand and owner guidelines pertaining to driver certification and safe transport of guests. No texting or use of cell phones while vehicle is moving.
