Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across different areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and surfaces. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools with proper manual handling techniques. Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and chemicals safely while adhering to safety protocols for sanitation and environmental compliance. Conduct outdoor work such as trash removal, outdoor surface cleaning, and maintaining outdoor spaces when required. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and ensure satisfaction through excellent customer service. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tasks such as moving furniture or large equipment. Experience with floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet cleaning, and surface maintenance. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as glass, tile, wood, and countertops using appropriate methods. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts. Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior cleaning or yard maintenance. Excellent client communication skills to ensure clear understanding of expectations and foster positive relationships.
