Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and maintain floor care standards to ensure a pristine appearance Manage janitorial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces for optimal sanitation Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while ensuring safety procedures are followed during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping needs with excellent customer service skills Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff Requirements Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices Knowledge of floor cleaning, sanitation standards, and the use of cleaning equipment is essential Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining awareness of safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling procedures Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking are required Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest interactions Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment Hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn are valued highly Join us as a Weekend Housekeeper and be part of a vibrant team committed to creating clean, comfortable spaces that guests love.
