Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team at a very unique, boutique hotel. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping management within the hotel or hospitality industry, with a strong focus on cleanliness and customer satisfaction. However, reliability, flexibility, and trustworthiness outweigh even experience, as we are more than happy to train a hard worker. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing custodial tasks. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Assist in training new staff members on housekeeping protocols and procedures. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred, but not necessary, as we will train according to our unique needs. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
