• Requires repetitive motions such as bending

Tasks and Job Duties :

• Strip rooms of dirty linens and towels, unless noted
• Check bedspread, blanket, and mattress pad & replace linens
• Dust and clean all furniture, ensuring that drawers are empty and clean
• Check under dresser for debris, sweep around and behind nightstand & chairs, the edges of the bed frame, and under the air conditioning unit
• Remove any non-hotel hangers
• Check general working order of lamps and telephone then wipe down all lamps, bulbs and telephone
• Wash mirror, picture frames, exit sign on the back of the door & walls of any marks or stains
• Wipe down the windowsill and heaters, wash and lock the windows
• Wipe the brass door handles
• Empty trash, wash bucket & lid out, and replace the plastic liner
• Wipe down the TV and radio, make sure the alarm, and radio is off. Check to see if the remote works.
• Clean inside & outside of the toilet, scrubbing thoroughly, then rinse
• Wash mirror, it should be free of any streaks and smudges
• Wash coffee makers and dispose of filters
• Wipe down hairdryer and the screen and check to see it works properly
• Replace empty Kleenex and toilet paper, place extras in the closet area
• Clean and dry bathroom shower/tub area & replace shower curtain if dirty
• In King rooms, check sofa beds, remake if necessary. Remake cots, if used
• Vacuum room and outside door as you leave, spray with Air Freshener
• Keep your carts neat wash off and restock at the end of the day
• Assist other departments with any task, if necessary
• Check and change vacuum bags, when needed' '
