Overnight Housekeeper-Janitor

Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Overnight Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout our 24-hour truck stop facility. The ideal candidate will work independently to ensure our facility remains clean and welcoming for customers and staff during overnight hours.

Requirements:

Perform thorough cleaning of all public areas including restrooms, showers, retail space, and restaurant area Sweep, mop, and sanitize all floor surfaces Empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the facility Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures, counters, mirrors, and replenish supplies Dust and clean surfaces, windows, and equipment Monitor and maintain cleanliness of entrance ways and immediate exterior areas Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to management Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replacements as needed Follow all safety protocols and procedures Respond to immediate cleaning needs as they arise Required Qualifications Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation to work overnight shifts Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent time management and organizational skills Professional demeanor when interacting with customers Must be able to pass background check and drug screening Working Conditions Work is performed indoors and occasionally outdoors Must be available to work overnight hours Exposure to cleaning chemicals and supplies May encounter varied weather conditions when cleaning exterior areas Required to wear appropriate safety equipment as needed Benefits Competitive hourly wage Health insurance eligibility Paid time off Employee discount program Opportunity for advancement Stable work environment in an essential business Our Company is family-owned and operated since 1964!
