Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our hotel guests.

Duties:

• Clean and tidy all areas of the hotel including public restrooms, common areas, guest laundry room area, parking lot, and all back-of-house spaces needs to be cleaned at all times.
• Change pool towels, replace towels in fitness room, and restock amenities.
• Vacuum hallway carpets, sweep and mop floors.
• Need to walk the parking lot and pool area, verify it to be neat and clean, any trash needs to be picked up.
• Dust and polish all public area furniture.
• Dispose of all public area trash to the dumpster.
• Ensure all areas are cared for and inspected in detail according to hotel standards.
• Notify management of any damages or repairs needed inside or around the hotel premises
• Follow established safety precautions and procedures.

Experience:

• Experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness using appropriate tools and cleaning agents.
• Strong customer service skills to interact with guests effectively.

Skills:

• Mechanical knowledge for basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• English proficiency for effective communication with team members and guests.
• Supervising skills to oversee cleaning staff efficiently.
• Familiarity with schematics for equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices.
