Duties Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and bathrooms using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle laundry services efficiently, including sorting, washing, folding, and distributing linens and clothing Conduct window cleaning and floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and pressure washing to uphold high standards of sanitation and appearance Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during all cleaning activities to ensure safety and infection control compliance Maintain cleanliness of janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment, ensuring proper storage and regular maintenance Follow all sanitation protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the facility Assist with heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or large supplies while adhering to manual handling safety procedures Skills Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles within healthcare or commercial settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, and pressure washing Familiarity with chemical handling and proper use of cleaning agents to ensure safety and effectiveness Strong understanding of infection control practices and sanitation standards in healthcare environments Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with residents, staff, and visitors Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks Join us in creating a safe haven where cleanliness meets compassionate care!
