Job Description

Job Overview:
Housekeeping/Supply Room associates will assist in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace every day. In this role, you'll take pride in maintaining facility cleanliness, supporting sanitation standards, and ensuring team members have a comfortable environment to work in. Basic Responsibilities & Duties:
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various areas. Sweep, clean and mop the floors in the common areas of the facility and in areas with high foot traffic. Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms, including mirrors, fixtures, and partitions. Empty trash cans and replace liners in all areas daily. Clean breakrooms and office areas, including tables, sinks, and floors. Wipe down microwaves, refrigerators and high-touch surfaces. Stock and maintain supply rooms with PPE, smocks, and other items needed daily by production team. Maintain janitorial supplies (hand soap, power towel, and toilet paper) and ensure proper storage as well as conducting weekly inventory of supplies. Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects when requested. Report to management when major repairs are needed throughout the facility. Wash, dry, and store onsite materials such as gloves, smocks, etc. in the supply room to maintain consistent supply to associates. Build and stage PPE "kits" with basic supplies for associates. Assist in associate locker assignment and maintain updated list of currently occupied/ vacant lockers. Perform basic first aid duties when needed. Following all safety requirements, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to plant implemented Safety Program. Following compliance by adhering to USDA regulations, GMP Policy, Food Defense, and PVP procedures. Promoting teamwork by working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient production. Being prepared to work in different departments and positions as needed, depending on production and staffing requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Age:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Legal Authorization:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods, repetitive motions, and lifting/carrying loads (often up to 40 pounds).
Working Conditions:
Willingness to work in various conditions, including cold, damp, wet, and potentially noisy environments with varying temperatures and strong odors.
Manual Dexterity:
Position requires majority of work to be conducted by hand
  • must be able to perform hands on labor to maintain cleanliness of facility.
Following Instructions:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Previous exposure to a poultry processing or manufacturing environment is a plus but generally not required.
Work Environment:
Temperatures:
May be exposed to temperatures below 28 degrees or up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit (in the event you work outside).
Surfaces:
Exposure primarily consists of wet floors, which include metal and plastic grating surfaces
  • when on and around production floor.
Noise:
May be exposed to noise ranges of up to 110 db. Must work from 4:00pm to 1:00 am Monday

$13.00 per hour
