Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of sanitation. Handle residential and commercial cleaning tasks such as kitchen and bathroom sanitation. Maintain cleanliness in common areas by emptying trash bins, restocking supplies, and ensuring all surfaces are hygienic and presentable. Provide excellent customer service by performing check out room cleaning in a consistant manor in our cottages and guests houses. Preparing rooms for the next guest check-ins. Support custodial operations in commercial or hotel environments by managing daily cleaning routines and special requests. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial work, custodial services, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable. Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning in a timely manner. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial equipment safely. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects when necessary, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required. Nice-to-have skills include experience in commercial cleaning environments or housekeeping management roles; familiarity with hotel or hospitality standards is a plus.
