Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care. Maintain cleanliness of kitchens by cooking light meals or preparing snacks when required, ensuring hygiene standards are met. Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents safely to ensure effective sanitation. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances while adhering to safety protocols. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations to promote a safe environment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service during each visit. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, including janitorial or custodial experience. Knowledge of cleaning techniques such as floor cleaning, surface sanitation, dusting, and carpet care. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and the proper use of cleaning detergents. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary. Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients. Flexibility to work in various environments and adapt to different household routines.
