Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, bedding, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment. Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality. Manage outdoor work tasks including patio cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required. Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks like moving furniture or large items safely. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns promptly. Experience Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of janitorial or custodial procedures, including the use of cleaning equipment and supplies. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as wood, tile, glass, marble granite, and upholstery is essential. Experience with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing is advantageous. Proven ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior surface maintenance tasks.
