Position Overview:
Children's Home Society of South Dakota is seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Coordinator to supervise the operation of the housekeeping needs as well as supervisor of housekeeping staff. $45,760 to $57,200 (DOE) with yearly merit-based raises as well raises based on licensure accrual.

Retirement Plans:
Once entry into the plan, employees receive a 3% employer contribution each pay period and an up to an additional 5% profit sharing . Employees are 100% vested after 4 years of credited service.
Referral Bonuses:
Earn up to $1,000 for referring new employees.
What You'll Do:
Team Management:
Participate in recommendations for hiring of assigned staff. Assign and Monitor staff tasks. Set performance expectations, monitor performance, and conduct performance appraisals.
Cleaning Duties:
Clean assigned areas including, but not limited to: bedrooms, common areas, bathrooms, dining room, administrative areas, and conference rooms. Ensure assigned areas are cleaned according to standards and in a timely manner. Ensure laundry is completed on a daily basis.
Inventory Management:
Ensure cleaning supplies inventory is maintained.
Safety Management:
Report needed repairs or safety hazards immediately to supervisor.
Compliance :
Ensure compliance with agency policy and all required regulatory standards.
Professional Development:
Attend assigned meetings. Participate in required in-service training.
Agency Duties:
Keep abreast of developments in Agency's areas of services and expertise.
Donation Management:
Receive and organize in-kind donations. Stock, organize, and maintain inventory of closets and storage areas, as assigned..

Experience Minimum one year experience in housekeeping and maintenance preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requires standing for extended periods of time.
