Job Description
Collects dirty linen into laundry bins and transports carts to laundry area Clean rooms Loads and unloads washers and dryers Folds sheets, towels and other linens Transports empty bins from Laundry to chute area Maintains the Laundry area and machine cleanliness keeping it neat and organized Wash throws, pillow charms, covers, robes, curtains and lobby cover Dispositions linens that do not meet standards for removal from service Reports maintenance and hazard issues Complies with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation Distributes linen to housekeepers Hang dry shower curtains Supports Housekeeping when understaffed or as required by the business Understand and abide by all company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to use stairs, bend, squat, stand or walk for extended periods that may exceed 8 hours Ability to lift up to 30 pounds intermittently throughout the course of a normal work day Skills & Attributes - Desired Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent dependability and punctuality a must Positive attitude and teamwork Experience in hospitality preferred but not required Daly Hotel Management is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to creating a powerfully diverse workforce and a broadly inclusive workplace, where everyone can contribute to their fullest potential each day.
