Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care. Clean floors using various techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care to maintain a pristine appearance. Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to manual handling guidelines for heavy lifting or moving furniture. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout each visit. Maintain organized supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning tools and surfaces are properly sanitized after use. Follow all safety protocols related to janitorial and custodial work to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with housekeeping management tasks as needed to support team coordination and workflow efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles; commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety standards for manual handling and heavy lifting. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Outdoor work experience is advantageous for handling exterior surface maintenance when required. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
