Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, including floors, bathrooms, and common spaces, ensuring high standards of sanitation and presentation. Handle various cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, mops, and industrial cleaning tools to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Safely handle chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Conduct floor care activities including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing to keep surfaces pristine. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or cleaning equipment while adhering to manual handling safety procedures. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines to respond effectively in urgent situations. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is advantageous. Experience handling chemical agents safely and efficiently is essential. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems or processes is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members are vital. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures ensures readiness for unexpected situations. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping roles will help you excel in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Pay:
