You will be an essential part of maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and hospitality excellence across our property. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Handle all laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency. Utilize chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and manufacturer instructions to ensure a safe environment. Maintain cleanliness standards through vacuuming, floor care, mopping, dusting, and detailed sanitation of surfaces. Operate janitorial equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners to achieve optimal cleanliness. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff at all times. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen storage or cleaning supplies while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines. Provide friendly customer service by addressing guest inquiries professionally and courteously during cleaning interactions. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles with a focus on industrial or janitorial cleaning. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques including floor care and maintenance using various cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining compliance with safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols. Skilled in manual handling practices necessary for heavy lifting tasks related to laundry and cleaning supplies. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest interactions. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards, hotel emergency procedures, and sanitation practices. Experience in hospitality environments that require attention to detail in both cleaning quality and safety standards.
