are Mandatory ( 1st shift 7am-3p)

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow directions and perform tasks on instructions.
• Experience in floorcare or the ability and aptitude to learn.

Job Summary:

Floorcare is responsible to clean the building and grounds to provide a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Clean all assigned areas
• Proper care of all tools and equipment
• Economical use of all supplies
• Willingness and ability to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis
• Consideration for all residents, visitors and staff
• Accept supervision from various department heads and charge nurses as is necessary
• Accept constructive criticism from supervision
• Must be aware of standard cleaning procedures in health care
• Must be able to operate floorcare equipment

Safety:

• Always use wet floor signs and remove them as soon as area is dry.
• Keep all equipment stored in appropriate areas when not in use.
• Keep all chemicals locked at all times.
• Always question anything that appears to be unsafe.
• Keep all chords on one side of the hallway.
• Do not use excessive amounts of water when mopping.
• Never mix chemicals.
• Use all chemicals as directed and in proper dilution ratios.
• If you have questions about the proper use of any chemical or equipment, ask the supervisor.

Pay:

From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
