Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and residents. Previous experience in custodial or hospitality settings is a plus, as you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of assigned areas. Ensure that all rooms, hallways, and common areas are clean and well-maintained. Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and floor care as needed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all standards of cleanliness are met. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies. Skills Strong knowledge of custodial practices and procedures. Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred. Familiarity with housekeeping management techniques is a plus. Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Proficiency in floor care techniques including waxing, buffing, and polishing surfaces.
