Job Summary The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for moving products "in and out" of the facility: polymer concrete boxes, covers, and vaults, from designated storage locations in the yard. Also, the material handler will be responsible for loading products "onto and off-of" trucks for daily shipment. Job Responsibilities Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and guidelines Actively participate in company's Continuous Improvement Programs Ability to read and interpret Production Work Orders (PWO), Assembly Pick Sheets (Orders), and Bill of Ladings Identify safety hazards in the yard and storage locations Inspect and perform maintenance checks on the forklift, daily & weekly Inspect material, products, or equipment for defects Pick, wrap and stage orders for daily shipment or storage Maintaining accuracy and organization of yard bin locations Perform cycle counts as needed Consolidate pallets as needed Empty dumpsters and scrap bins Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Job Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Experience with forklift operations Strong attention to details Basic math skills Good time management Good communication skills Must be able to stand or sit for long durations Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
