The Houseman helps maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked guest and public areas while providing friendly and professional service to our guests. Responsibilities Support the Housekeeping team with daily hotel operations. Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping areas. Collect and transport dirty linens and towels to designated areas. Keep housekeeping closets, storage areas, and service areas clean and organized. Assist housekeepers with removing trash and transporting supplies. Clean and maintain public areas, hallways, elevators, stairways, and other assigned areas. Assist with moving furniture, rollaway beds, mattresses, and other hotel equipment as needed. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for extra towels, linens, amenities, and other items. Report maintenance issues, damages, safety concerns, or lost-and-found items to the appropriate department. Assist with cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas around the hotel when needed. Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures. Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with guests and team members. Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or management. Qualifications Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as required. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
